The position of Senior Neighbourhood Janitor is to provide a full and comprehensive Facilities Support service within various neighbourhoods across Glasgow, where you will report to the Area Operations Manager, Facilities Management.

You will be responsible for the supervision of a team of Neighbourhood Janitors to deliver services within a neighbourhood, ensuring service delivery standards and customer satisfaction is met and your duties will include proactive partnership working with Heads of Establishments, contractors and community users to ensure a high-quality service delivery.

Other duties will include overseeing and ensuring buildings are maintained in a clean, hygienic and safe condition which will involve regular travelling throughout the neighbourhood and undertaking auditing and evaluation of service delivery.

In addition, you will co-ordinate porterage requirements, ensure compliance with all Health and Safety procedures inclusive of swimming pools where appropriate and in emergency situations you will identify and allocate resource to undertake School Crossing Patrol duties, cleaning tasks etc. as necessary.

This is a hands on supervisory role and as such successful applicants will be required to undertake the full range of tasks within the Neighbourhood Janitor remit.
