**_Job Title: Bid Writer/Co Ordinator - Hygiene/Direct_**
**_Location: Birmingham/Tamworth._**

- Working within a small team, you will manage individual bid tenders and proposals across PHS Hygiene and Direct._
**_Key role responsibilities: _**:

- _Working alongside the Head of Bids on larger opportunities and working independently, you will manage bids and proposals to prospective and existing PHS customers._
- _Run and hold kick - off meetings, evaluate specifications, organise the sign off and delivery of the completed proposal within specified timescales._
- _Research, gather and edit information for the inclusion within submissions._
- _Develop persuasive bid content to meet customer’s needs._
- _Quality assurance on your own work and supporting colleagues on their respective submissions._
- _Collaborate with relevant colleagues/managers and wider commercial teams to generate value added content._
- _Either lead or support colleagues with business improvement projects designed to improve the quality of our submissions._
- _Contribute to the knowledge library and undertake periodic reviews to ensure all content is up to date and applicable._
- _Adhere to PHS bidding processes._
- _A minimum of one-year prior bid tender/proposals experience._
- _APMP desirable._
- _InDesign experience desirable._
- _Solid writing experience._
- _Salesforce experience desirable._
- _Strong organisational skills, work well under pressure and flexible._
- _Exceptional written, oral, commercial and presentation skills._
- _Knowledge of proposals and use of tender management tools and techniques._
- _Proven ability in planning, producing, and delivering compliant bids and proposals in a business environment._
- _Ability to manage multiple work streams and to think clearly under pressure._
- _Enjoys working as part of a close, busy and supportive team._
