Sen Tutor

**Would you be interested in supporting children and young people as a 1:1 tutor outside of mainstream school?** Teaching Personnel are working closely with the Oxfordshire SEN team to provide 1:1 intervention to children and young people currently out of school or awaiting a school place. We have been tasked to source an experienced SEN and SEMH educator to work closelywith a Year 6 student awaiting a specialist provision. This tuition is expected to be between 15-25 hours a week and to take place at the home of the student. This student is currently out of school due to various needs including ADHD and Oppositional DefianceDisorder. **This role will involve:** - 1-1 tuition to take place at the home of the student - Assessing, planning and delivering a tailored scheme of work - Skills and experience on keeping the child engaged with task and ensuring that can access the learning - Managing and implementing a range of behaviour strategies The location of the home for the student is based in the OX29 - Witney area. - Able to plan and deliver engaging sessions tailored to the level and learning style of the student - Checking that pupils are on track to achieve their desired learning outcomes and being able to provide feedback. - Experience with working with children with challenging behaviour. - SEN experience - SEMH **What Can We Offer** - £20-£30 per hour - A dedicated consultant to discuss current or future roles with you - Exclusive access to our CPD Academy If you are interested in this role, click "apply" now All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well as the Right to Work in the UK.
