**Start Your Career with Actif -**Leisure Facilities Apprentice**

Are you enthusiastic, eager to learn, and passionate about helping others? Join our friendly team at Actif as an **Leisure Facilities Apprentice** and begin your journey in the leisure industry.

As an apprentice, you’ll support the day-to-day running of our facilities while learning key skills in customer service, health and safety, and leisure operations. You’ll help ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all our customers.

Working alongside experienced colleagues, you’ll be involved in supervising pool sessions, setting up equipment for activities, supporting junior programmes, and learning what it takes to deliver a top-quality leisure experience.

A good level of swimming ability is required, as part of the role includes working in and around the pool, and supporting lifeguarding duties.

We’ll provide full training and support as you work towards a recognised qualification - all we ask is that you bring energy, commitment, and a positive attitude. You will also have the chance to develop and use Welsh language skills to help us reach even more people, supporting a bilingual and inclusive approach to promoting leisure and wellbeing in the county.

As part of the recruitment process you will need to:
Attend an in-person recruitment day on Friday 25th July 2025.

If you are successful at the recruitment day you will be invited to attend an interview with the team on the 7th or 8th August 2025.

You must be available for these dates as no alterative dates will be available.

**The Welsh language is integral to the identity of Carmarthenshire and its people. If you don't currently meet the Welsh language standard that we need for this role, we will work together on your Welsh language journey and help you develop the skills needed to succeed in this position.
