**Wake Night Support Workers - Romford/Ilford ( £12 per hour)** We are currently looking to recruit Waking Night **Support Workers** to join our Romford/Ilford homes on a permanent basis working **40 hours per week**. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to start a new structured career path working within a challenging yet exciting, fast paced position, delivering support to young people, in their own home, who are experiencing social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. **About Heartwood** With more than a decade’s service in the field of social care, Heartwood Care Group have provided an experienced support for children and young people in their local communities delivering a tailored approach to each child and a flexible care for those with emotional and/or behavioural difficulties who are emotionally vulnerable and occasionally challenging. **Key Responsibilities** - Ensure that the rights of the young people are upheld and promoted at all times in accordance with the principles of choice, respect, dignity and privacy. - Ensure that all issues relating to the safeguarding of vulnerable children and/or adults are reported according to policies and procedures and in accordance with the safeguarding policy. - Ensure that if there are significant changes to individual service users’ needs these are raised with the Service Manager. - Promote young people’s involvement in all areas including service delivery, quality assurance and organisational development. - Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with both internal colleagues and external bodies alike. - Able to demonstrate an understanding of social emotional and behavioural difficulties and how these may impact the lives of the young people that we support. - Able to inspire and encourage young people to engage in all aspects of daily living. - An empowering, approachable and resilient worker. - Confident, influential and inspiring. **What we offer** **- Fully Funded training and qualifications** **.
