Security Officer

DGS Services are delighted to offer the position of Security Officer at the Tower Centre Ballymena, one of Northern Irelands leading Shopping Centres, this position is 37.5 hours per week over a 4 day period.
As part of our new role, we are looking to enhance and grow our Security/Customer service teams. The position will hold the responsibility as a Security Officer for the Tower Centre, where the position will suit a highly motivated, organised individual who is customer focused to positively impact the shopping centre. Applicants must have both the ability to work alone and as part of a team.
In this role you will be expected to:
- Be friendly, approachable, and well mannered.
- Provide a professional service and a high level of customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors.
- Patrol premises, operate CCTV and answer calls.
- Adhere to and make sure all on site understand site security policies and procedures including Health & Safety.
- To successfully manage difficult situations whereby you may be required to protect and defend the clients property and assets.
- Work as part of strong and successful team.
- Flexible and available to work evenings and weekends.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Security experience desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- To work to the values of the company mission and vision statement.
