Calibration Apprentice

We are a well-established, multi-location business specialising in the calibration, service, and repair of electrical test instruments. We are excited to offer an apprenticeship opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our expanding Calibration Department at our Newton Aycliffe office.

**About the Role**

The Calibration Apprentice position is primarily office-based, with the possibility of attending an education centre one day a week. This apprenticeship includes:

- A formal qualification in metrology principles/electrical engineering through day-release study.
- Hands-on workplace training in calibration principles and practices.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Calibrating electrical, mechanical, and gas instrumentation to accredited certification standards.
- Following and updating processes and procedures.
- Collaborating within a customer-focused service environment.

**Preferred Minimum Qualifications**
- Have minimum 4 GSCE’s grade 4 (or equivalent) which includes English, Maths and a Science.
- A genuine passion for Electrical Engineering.
- PC competent
- Dedicated and enthusiastic individual, who can demonstrate strong team working, problem-solving and communication skills.

These qualifications support entry into a Modern Apprenticeship.
