Kenton Black Scientific is a recruitment partner to a global Molecular diagnostic testing laboratory based in Surrey. They currently looking to hire a Bioinformatician with next generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis exprience to support their on-goingCOVID19 testing projects.

**Responsibilities**:
Provide data analysis for NGS data (next generation sequencing data)

Ensure all NGS data handling pipelines are correct and crossed check using alternative methods

Interpretation of NGS data of variants and produce supporting SOPs and work instructions

Conduct investigations on any customer queries regarding test results

Provide accurate and well thought out solutions for problems and issues based on a strong theoretical and practical knowledge

**Qualifications**:
Degree in Bioinformatics or higher

Proven experience in providing NGS data analysis and interpretation

Experience in the use of NGS bioinformatic pipelines

Experience in the field of human genetic disease

Experience in analysing Illumina NGS sequence data

Experience in MS Office, Excel, R etc for data analysis, statistics and presentation
