Principal DevOps Engineer - Fully Remote, £90K

I am delighted to be working with a market leader and a major player within their industry looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer to join their growing team.

These guys have built a world-class software as a service platform that's absolutely disrupted its industry. Due to their on-going success, growth here has been organic for them but it's now moving at an unbelievable pace and they're looking to ramp up theirDevOps outfit.

These guys move fast and develop enterprise-scale products quickly in a very Agile yet truly scalable way. They're entirely Cloud based and have partnered with AWS for the last decade. Their Engineering teams are organised into Squads, they have around 15-30squads made up of Engineers, QA, Product Owners and Architects.

As a Principal DevOps engineer you will thrive off working with the wider team to grow and mature the DevOps assets within the company including all aspects of their SaaS products. You will also be responsible for defining the long-term strategy for theirDevOps practices and, in time, lead a small team of DevOps engineers as the team grows.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and has extensive experience with AWS cloud infrastructure or even a AWS certification. You will have solid experience of Linux or Windows hosts and bring infrastructure as code experiencewith either Terraform, Ansible or CDK. I would also love to see someone with experience with Azure DevOps in the automation tooling capacity.

In a nutshell we are looking for someone who can innovate as well as be hands on within the team. You will be able to influence changes with stakeholders and be able to build relationships.

This role is available on a fully remote basis or you can work from their office space here in Nottingham City Centre
