Optical Receptionist

We need a new member to join our small friendly team based in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. The successful applicant will be cheerful, customer focused and enthusiastic, a strong communicator and have excellent interpersonal skills.

We are a well respected independent optician, providing high levels of clinical service and eye care to our patients. We stock an extensive range of designer eyewear in our modern, successful and long established optical practices.

Job requirements:

- Good communication skills with people of all age groups and backgrounds
- A friendly and helpful and caring personality with a positive attitude
- Style and image awareness
- Flexibility to work both alone and as part of a team
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Experience in customer service or a healthcare environment
- Education to a good GCSE standard or above

**Salary**: Dependent on experience

Hours: Either full time 5 days over a 6 day week or part time hours minimum 3 days per week, Monday to Saturday. No Sundays or Bank Holiday working

Holidays: 28 days holiday, including bank holidays, pro rata for part time hours

Start date: As mutually agreed

**Salary**: £15,467.59-£24,368.57 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
We have a locked door policy and all entrance is controlled by appointment only. All staff are offered vaccination against Covid and we have twice weekly testing. We have a spacious store with good mechanical ventilation and mask wearing is mandatory.
