With plans in place to move to a new purpose built facility in Telford very soon, we are recruiting for key roles within our expanding operations team.

Dog Food Kitchen Operative **Current Shrewsbury until November **_(shift times indicative)_

Monday - Friday 04:30 - 12:30 (Mornings)

Monday - Friday 12:00 - 20:00 (Afternoons)

Sunday to Thursday (Night Shift - 8 Hours Shift) 20:00 - 04:30

Dog Food Kitchen Operative **November from November located in Telford **_(shift times indicative)_

Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:00 (Mornings)

Monday - Friday 14:00 - 22:00 (Afternoons)

Sunday to Thursday (Night Shift ) 22:00 - 06:00

**Salary**: TBD depending on Shift pattern

**Responsibilities**:
**Food Preparation**:

- Follow standardized recipes and guidelines to prepare dog food ingredients.
- Measure, mix, and combine various ingredients to create consistent and balanced dog food recipes.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Quality is our highest priority and all team members have the right and the responsibility to maintain highest quality standards, and immediately escalate any concerns or issues.

**Packing and Labelling**:

- Pack dog food products into appropriate containers, adhering to correct processes and procedures
- Maintain a neat and organized packing area to prevent cross-contamination and ensure accurate product tracking.

**Cleanliness and Sanitation**:

- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment at all times.
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces according to established protocols.
- Follow proper hygiene practices, including hand washing and wearing appropriate protective clothing.

**Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to food safety regulations, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) standards.
- Report any safety concerns, accidents, or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Work collaboratively with other kitchen & packing operatives, chefs, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively to address any production challenges or changes to recipes.

- Initially located in Shrewsbury, SY1 3TG, with a view to relocating to Telford within the next 3 months - must be able to commute to the new site

Pay: From £11.45 per hour
