Our client continue to dominate the dental market on a global scale and due to their growth, are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to join their team in Scotland. This role is partnered with many benefits such as a company car and pension,on target bonus and many more.

**Responsibilities**:

- Increase merchandise business from new and low share of wallet customers.
- Reactivate lost accounts.
- Achieve and exceed Sales, Gross Profit Targets.
- Work with the Account Manager to ensure a successful introduction / handover is achieved once a consistent level of spend is reached.
- Win business when making calls to customer with relevant offer/enquiry details.
- Identify new opportunities (not currently trading)
- Calls are defined as either remote based or face 2 face.
- Record and update customer database with all relevant information within Salesforce.
- Ensure that all reporting is done correctly and on a timely basis in Salesforce.
- Ensure that all communication to customers both written and verbal maintains a high standard both in presentation and content.
- Attend team meetings, training courses, exhibitions and seminars as required.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required

**About You**:

- Experience in the dental industry is desirable but not essential.
- The ability to operate confidently and competently at a B2B level
- High degree of commercial acumen
- Sound understanding of key business metrics, and familiarity with profit and loss statements.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- A customer-centric, collaborative, consultative and commercially astute approach to selling.
- Good analytical and business administration skills, competent with Excel
- Experience of new business development and large account management.
- Able to develop and communicate business strategies and ideas clearly and confidently.
