A leader in environmental services, Urbaser Ltd provides municipal, waste treatment and recovery services to residents throughout the UK. Our operations are focused on conserving resources, carbon reduction and delivering a circular economy.

We are currently looking to recruit a Full time HR Administrator based at our Depot at Head Office to cover 12 months maternity leave.

Reporting to the HR Director you will be required to work as part of the Human Resources team, providing high quality service to individuals (managers and employees), ensuring that policies and procedures are applied fairly and consistently. To provide an effective and efficient output of work to meet the demands of the role, assisting in all aspects of the work undertaken by Human Resources.

Applicants will need to demonstrate that they have experience working in an HR Assistant role as the post has a wide variety of duties and you should possess excellent communication, organisational skills, be tactful, diplomatic, able to work using own initiative and as part of a team.

An understanding of confidentiality and GDPR is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Be the first point of contact for all HR related queries
- Draft all ER letters by reading the meeting notes and liaising with HRBP’s working remotely
- Liaison with Payroll to ensure timely and accurate transfer of information
- Responsible for the day to day management of Employee life cycle documentation and processes
- Compiling reports and spreadsheets
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process, liaising with Line Manager, Recruitment agencies and other web-based Job sites as appropriate
- Providing administrative support to managers, HR BP and HR Director
- Set up and maintain personnel filing systems and database
- Coordinate HR projects

- Experience in MS Office

- Good understanding of employment relations and process
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibility and willingness to learn

- Previous working experience in fast paced HR
- Tenacious, resourceful and resilient

- Strong relationship building skills

The duties and responsibilities highlighted are indicative and may vary over time. The post holder will be expected to undertake other duties and responsibilities relevant to the nature, level and extent of the post and the grade that has been established on this basis.

Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
