Do you have experience working within Professional Services?
We are working with a top university who are looking for a Purchasing Practitioner to join their Procurement team on a full time, permanent basis.

The Purchasing Team are responsible for tactical purchasing, including undertaking appropriate sourcing exercises, raising of purchase orders and expediting activities.

The main purpose of the Purchasing Practitioner's role is to provide day-to-day procurement and oversight of the University's eProcurement system.

Hybrid working is being piloted which may include the opportunity to work both on and off campus and to flex working hours.
The salary range is between £20,092 - £22,254.

R**esponsibilities**:

- Provide a responsive and proactive support service for stakeholders
- Respond to service users answering and recording standard purchasing queries
- Record data and information accurately and provide reports as required
- Operate an enquiry service and process requests finding solutions or escalating queries where necessary
- Resolve queries and requests for information and advice
- Work with team members to ensure the smooth running of administrative processes to support people and business activities
- Provide guidance to staff and students regarding procurement matters
- Expedite purchase orders and invoice queries in a timely manner
- Compile, record, store and archive data and information to ensure the accuracy and safety of information
- Provide eProcurement training to stakeholders
- Use standard office-based digital systems, tools and equipment to carry out data recording, communications and networking
