Esol Lecturer

**Position: ESOL Lecturer at Wirral Met College**

**Location**: Birkenhead, Merseyside, United Kingdom

**Salary**: £15,101 to £20,884 per annum

**Job Type**: Part time, permanent

**Key responsibilities**:

- Designing and implementing lesson plans that align with the ESOL curriculum and meet the needs of individual learners
- Providing regular feedback to students on their progress and areas for improvement
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and participation
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and improve the ESOL program and teaching materials
- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement

**Qualifications**:

- Specialist Level 5 or above ESOL teaching qualification, e.g. CELTA or Trinity TESOL, MA TESOL, DELTA or other equivalent
- GCSE or Level 2 English and maths
- Experience teaching ESOL to adults at a range of proficiency levels
- A strong understanding of current ESOL teaching methods and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
