Located in the centre of Newcastle, established in 2017, our store specialises in suits and accessories predominantly for weddings and has a strong local reputation. The recent addition of hire has proven very popular and the supervisor would oversee this department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to join a dynamic independent business, where you'll have the chance to make meaningful changes and help shape the future of our brand.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide expert advice and assistance to customers regarding their choices and needs
- Process payments, refunds, and other transactions
- Maintain the store's cleanliness to a high standard, including housekeeping for both front and back house areas
- Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
- Open and close the store as required
- Utilise merchandising skills for effective replenishment, presentation, and engagement on social media channels
- Assist in creating orders for wedding parties, store inventory, and stock replenishment
- Contribute to building and maintaining the brand identity
- Accept and process deliveries
- Prepare customer orders, including those for wedding parties, ensuring items are ready for collection
- Manage online orders and fulfillment directly from the store
- Address customer queries, concerns, and complaints professionally
- Stay updated on product knowledge and services
- Supervise retail assistants
- Embrace flexible working hours, including weekends, as needed
- Cultivate positive relationships with colleagues and customers

Hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: £25,000 pro-rata

Days: 3 weekdays 10 -4 plus every Saturday 10-4

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 per week

- Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail sales: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Newcastle upon Tyne (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Newcastle upon Tyne: Relocate before starting work (required)
