**Are you looking for a permanent role with progression opportunities and overtime available?**

We are currently recruiting for Machine Operators in the Hawick area for our client who has an outstanding reputation and offers great employment and pay prospects in the heart of the Borders. The role will be working on the main shop floor to man the extrusion lines and monitor the working of all the machinery producing fibre optic cables.

**Who are we looking for?**

We are looking for someone with a good level of mathematical and mechanical skills

Flexible to work shifts, both day and night shifts.

MUST be able to reliably commute to and from either Hawick or Jedburgh sites.

Previous experience in a factory / production environment is desirable

Willing to work hard and become a core member of a fantastic team.

Be eager to learn and progress within the role.

**Job Type**: Full-time, temp to perm

**Salary**: Starting from £10ph (overtime available at time and a half).

Plus 26% shift allowance once permanent equates to £27.5k+ per annum plus OT.
