We are seeking an experienced Grants Fundraiser with a proven track record in leading successful fundraising and grant award programmes.
**Position**: Grants Fundraising Manager
**Location**: Hybrid home working / Gloucestershire
**Salary**:£33,000 - £36,000, negotiable depending on experience
**Hours**: Full time, 40 hours per week, flexible working available
**Benefits**:25 days holiday (increasing by 1 day each calendar year up to 28 days), free on-site parking, 7% contributions towards Group Personal Pension, 4x Life Assurance and Private Medical Insurance after 12 months’ service.
About the role:
As Grants Fundraising Manager you will lead the development of the Charity’s fundraising and grant awarding programme. You will be responsible for delivering and implementing a revenue generation strategy that will sustain the programme.
You will build and lead a team responsible for delivering both the fundraising and grant awarding requirements of the programme and be responsible for the day-to-day management of the programme, working alongside the communication and marketing team to buildawareness around the programme and the work that it does.
**About you**:
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a track record of success, who can demonstrate excellent understanding of fundraising for charities or not for profits. Additionally, the individual needs to have experience of processes related to theawarding of grants.
You will be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal and organisational skills. You will be strategic in your outlook and results oriented with previous experience of working in or with charities or volunteer led organisations.
Essential skills and experience include:
- Recruiting, mentoring and managing a multifunctional team
- Managing relationships with partners, affiliates and service providers to plan and implement effective fundraising campaigns
- Up-to-date knowledge of governance and compliance related to fund raising for charities in the UK
- Working alongside teams of volunteers and other departments within the organisation
