Due to expansion and growth, we have a genuinely exciting opportunity for **Community Tutors** to join our amazing and dedicated Adult & Community team. We are looking for engaging and positive people who love to make a difference in the community to work across:
- **Advanced Photography - Hair & Beauty - Handy Person inc. Joinery/Decorating/Basic Plumbing - Upholstery - SIA - Level 2 BSL (British Sign Language) - Spanish - Sustainability & Bee Keeping**

**Responsibilities include**:

- To teach on courses specified by the Head of Department/Curriculum Area Manager (CAM).
- To assist the CAM with costings and control of materials and equipment when specified.
- To be responsible to the CAM for student discipline, counselling and guidance during all assigned classes and blended learning.
- To participate in Course Committee/student voice activities.
- To direct students actively towards safe industrial working practices where appropriate.
- To participate actively in the enrolment, monitoring, profiling and assessment of students or trainees.
- To participate in the maintenance and promotion of close links with employers.
- To produce evidence of planning for student feedback on courses and, where appropriate, course syllabus.
- Provide individual learning plans and provide support for learners in line with the requirements of the course.
- Supervision and management of students on blended learning courses and offsite visits and activities where appropriate.
- Act as academic and pastoral tutor to students.
- To implement and promote College regulations, policies and procedures.

**Education & Training**
- A Degree relevant to your chosen specialism
- GCSE 4 - 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in Maths
- GCSE 4 - 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in English
- QTLS is desirable but not essential

**Experience**
- To work/have worked in the field of your chosen specialism and be able to demonstrate sector competence
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Experience of course development is desirable but not essential
