**Job Purpose**:
As Head of Sales, you’ll take full ownership of the Sales performance, ensuring profitability, operational excellence, and outstanding customer satisfaction. You’ll lead a dedicated sale team, foster a positive working environment, and implement strategies to achieve business targets.

**Role Requirements**:

- Relevant experience in General Sales Manager / General Manager / Head of Sales roles within a medium-sized business
- Must have a proven track record of leading a dealership team to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction results, as well as excelling in achieving internal and brand KPIs
- Must have strong leadership and communication skills
- Can demonstrate examples where innovation or strategic thinking has been used to improve people engagement, operational and financial performance

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to exceed targets
- Drive the sales department profitability through effective planning and performance management
- Develop and maintain a positive working environment that encourages high performance and accountability.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience and uphold Chapelhouse standards
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes in car finance, retail sales and administration
- Collaborate with senior management to align with the company’s growth strategy
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and manufacturer requirements
- Analyse sales data to identify trends, challenges and opportunities
- Report on sales performance to senior management, including analysis of sales metrics, achievements and areas to improve.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best industry regulations and best practices.

**Experience and Qualifications Required for the Role**

**Essential**:

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have previous motor trade experience, as general sales manager or general manager.

**Desirable**:

- Proven experience in managing large sales teams in a fast-paced environment across several franchises
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent understanding of car finance products, processes, and regulations.
