Plant Fitter

Potter Plant Hire are looking for someone join our existing team based in our Thirsk depot. There is the potential to work significant amounts of overtime and starting rate is dependent on experience

**_Key Responsibilities for this role are: _**
- Maintain and repair plant equipment
- Carry out other workshop duties where required
- Parts ordering,
- Maintain comprehensive records, electronically, for items of plant and equipment to demonstrate the performance of all pre-hire checks, PDI’s, routine servicing, statutory inspection, and breakdown repair
- Report any defect in plant and monitor safety performance
- Carry out services, repairs, and maintenance in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Have previous experience as a plant fitter working within the plant hire industry.
- Be responsible and accountable
- Be methodical and have good attention to detail
- Be a good team player with a can-do attitude
- Be Polite, customer focused and have the desire to do a good job every day
- Hold a current driving licence
- Manages their workload and keep records of servicing intervals and maintenance
The ability to operate machines and attachments and have an awareness of the rules, regulations and requirements that are pertinent to plant would be an advantage.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.00-£20.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
