Overview:
**Role Overview**
To secure Rapiscan Systems as the leading supplier of X-Ray and People Screening products within EMEA.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets for EMEA
- Achieve targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth
- Increase market share in existing markets and maximise new business development opportunities
- Establish and manage distributor networks
- Develop budgets and monitor distributors’ performance to ensure annual budgets are reached
- Identify and co-ordinate sales and product training for distributors
- Negotiate contracts on behalf of Rapiscan Systems
- Build and manage a successful sales team
- Report monthly bookings and sales against budget and forecast
- Interface with Project Management, Service, Engineering and Operations to help maintain efficient operations in the region
- Identify and assist in planning for key marketing events such as symposiums, exhibitions and conferences
- Participate in regularly Regional management meetings
- Create and maintain a positive culture and morale within the organisation
- Act as ambassador and role model for Rapiscan business
- Frequent travel within EMEA
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong sales management/leadership/negotiation skills
- Business numeracy and acumen
- Efficient management of time and resources
- Good PC skills
**Previous Relevant Background**
- High level sales / business management
- Experience within advanced security solutions desirable but not essential
