Elite have partnered with a well known Beauty Brand ,This role is unique in that we not only deal with and plan for finished product - e.g ordering a lip liner and a lip liner coming in but we produce most of our own product - therefore a large part of thisrole is in production planning (this entails demand planning as they haveown factory close by)There is a lot to oversee but being part of the process in its entirety is extremely rewarding and we want someone to find it as exciting as we do
Buying and Production Planning
- Monitor and analyse stock levels and sales.
- Conduct replen buys for finished product, buys, bulks and raw materials taking seasonality and promotional forecasts into account.
- Finalise buys for new product - ensuring that orders are placed in line with MOQs, lead times and launch dates.
- Liaise closely with team and maintain own good knowledge of Delivery Diary to keep on top of pending orders and delivery schedule.
- Weekly replen production planning taking sales, capacity, stock of components and bulks, production limitations and logístical preferences into account.
- Using the relevant reporting and conducting analysis to ensure product components are available to meet production requirements
- Forward production planning of NPD/gifting - securing production capacity and working other business requirements around this - reprioritising as necessary.
- Attend daily progress meetings and lead the weekly meeting with Operations, NPD and Demand Planning.

Forecasting
- Work with sales team to forecast NPD for retailers using own sales knowledge to aid in decision making.
- Assist in providing analysis and insights to make business decisions.
- Promo planning - collating retailers’ load ups and forecasts by month and using this piece in making re-buy decisions on finished products and components.
- Knowing the customer - continuous review of past performance sales and seasonality e.g. Halloween, Christmas etc. in order to forecast future sales as accurately as possible.

**Management**:

- **Management of 2 direct reports maintaining a positive and enthusiastic team ethic.**:

- **Reviewing previous spend in line with budgets with a view to gain better accuracy going forward and advising Finance on future budgets and spend so that accurate forecasts can be created.**:

- **Reporting in to the General Manager.**:

- **Partake in monthly Senior Managers Meetings and provide key updates.**:

- **Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and retailers.**

**Previous business experience in a statistical analysis/forecasting role**
**Great stakeholder management and influencing skills**
**Good organisational skills**
**Able to multi-task, prioritise and stay calm under pressure**
**Excellent Microsoft Office skills with advanced Excel**
**Extensive experience working in complex, multi-programme environments**
**Strong commercial acumen**
**Educated to degree level**
**Have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role**
**Enthusiastic and self-motivated**
**Faultless attention to detail
