**ICT P3M Project Manager** Bristol / South West** **£30,000 - 70,000 (DOE)**

**Sector**: Defence & Security** We are seeking proactive and driven ICT P3M Project Managers at all levels to join our clients' growing team. They work across Government departments helping to deliver national security objectives by providing pragmatic, trusted and collaborative technicalconsultancy support. They want you to bring your leadership and enthusiasm to help their clients deliver their programmes and projects successfully.

An ICT P3M Project Manager will possess a combination of excellent leadership, organisational and communications skills combined with technical understanding to help define and deliver successful projects. We are looking for people with proven track records,as well as those just starting out who are keen to show their potential. Our client will provide plenty of training, support and internal coaching and mentoring to help you develop your career in P3M.

**Key Responsibilities and Attributes**:

- Lead, organise and coordinate project team activities to deliver agreed goals
- Communicate clearly to all stakeholders, including the briefing and handling of senior stakeholders
- Keen eye for detail to manage and control project Cost, Time & Scope, Risk and Change
- Good judgement to find pragmatic solutions to often conflicting issues
- The ability to carefully and tactfully manage expectations and client relationships
- High personal standards to deliver projects to outstanding quality requirements
- The technical ability and creativity to define the project scope, project plan, and procurement artefacts including Statements of Requirement (SOR), Business Cases and Tender Documentation
- Excellent organisational skills to co-ordinate procurement activities from business case approval through to contract award
- The flexibility to adapt to different P3M delivery methodologies i.e. waterfall v Agile
- The ability to monitor and report progress to stakeholders, and to clearly articulate options and the impact these have on the project
- The tenacity to ensure project milestones and targets are clearly understood by all stakeholders within and outside of the project boundary.

**Person Specification**:

- UK resident and right to work with SC vetting status (or higher)
- Graduate level to 10+yrs experience in P3M in defence or adjacent engineering sectors
- ICT or STEM degree or equivalent academic qualification desirable but not essential
- Experience of MOD approvals, business cases and procurement processes desirable
- P3M qualifications such as APM, Agile, Prince 2, MSP, or equivalent desirable
- Excellent spoken and written communicator
- A team player and (the desire to be) a natural and engaging leader.
