**Barista / All Rounder**

**Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista / All Rounder to join our team. As a Barista / All Rounder, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee, other beverages and food. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about coffee and brunch and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

**Duties**:

- Welcome customers and provide them with a warm and engaging experience with a view to maintaining repeat custom.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Take customer orders efficiently and process payments accurately
- Proactively upsell products
- Learn about the products in depth so customers’ questions can be answered confidently
- Prepare food from a simple brunch menu, as well as preparing pastries and baked products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including (but not limited to) the coffee bar, kitchen, equipment, and seating areas.
- Ensure the quality and freshness of all products by following proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Proactively provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns or complaints. Encourage customers to leave reviews following a positive experience.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and smooth workflow

**EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ESSENTIAL**

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and measuring ingredients
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: Up to £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 28 per week
