**Transport Administrator / Supervisor**
- Atherton | £12.57 per hour | Full-time, Ongoing_
- Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 6:00pm_

**Flexible People Ltd** are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established client based in **Atherton**, a leading distributor of wholesale cleaning products. We're looking for a motivated and experienced **Transport Administrator/Supervisor**to support and oversee key aspects of the daily transport operation.

This is a pivotal role that goes beyond general administration — ideal for someone with a solid background in transport or logistics who is ready to take a step up in responsibility, with some duties typically associated with a **Transport Supervisor**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate daily transport operations to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Print, process, and manage delivery notes and routing schedules
- Monitor driver performance and delivery progress throughout the day
- Act as first point of contact for drivers, addressing route queries and delivery issues
- Update delivery information and amend records accurately within internal systems
- Liaise with warehouse, planning, and customer service teams to ensure smooth logistics flow
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and internal policies
- Assist in investigating delivery discrepancies or failures
- Compile and present transport performance data and KPIs
- Maintain accurate filing systems and records for audits and reporting
- Provide general administrative support as required

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Proven experience in a **transport or logistics administration** role (essential)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- Confident communicator - both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable liaising with drivers and operational staff in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transport/logistics software systems
