We’re looking for an additional member for the team, an IT Systems Analyst to join them on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role
- the office is based in Cambridge
**Main responsibilities**
- Analyse and evaluate current I.T systems and services
- Identify system requirements
- Map and document interfaces between existing legacy and new systems
- Review and identify options, creating solutions that fit the business from a technical and commercial perspective
- Conduct requirements analysis workshops
- Collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders and external partners and service providers
- Translate non-technical requirements into highly technical specifications
- Create High-level design documents (HLD’s)
- Develop, analyse, prioritise, and organise requirement specifications, data mapping and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure the technical viability of solutions
- Create and execute test plans based on business process to ensure rigorous testing before rolling out live systems
- Provide documentation of all processes and training as needed
- Proven experience as a system analyst and ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- A methodical approach and attention to detail to ensure the development and implementation of effective solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding and experience of Software Development life cycle processes and methodologies
- Good business acumen and commercial awareness with a solid understanding of how organisational processes work
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities and work to deadlines
- Experience working on complex Business Change/Improvement, Strategic, BAU and I.T service transition projects
**Desired skills**
- Experience/exposure with MS SQL Server, Visual Studio, TFS (Team Foundation Server)
- Azure DevOps and CI/CD frameworks, BDD (Behavioural Driven Design) Automated Build / Automated Release, API integrations (REST / SOAP) are desirable
