Job Title**:Production Operative Finishing - AM Shift**

Reports to: The Spray Shop Team Leader

**Salary**: £12.09 per hour (inclusive of shift Allowance & Role Premium)

Role:
The Production Operative - Finishing role requires you to be a flexible team member within both our robotic painting and polishing departments. You will be working to a high-quality finish & and assisting the department to fulfil the production quantities required.

In this role you will be using handheld machines as well as operating robotics, mixing chemicals, cleaning the robotic systems, all whilst adhering to the training & operating systems of B&W manufacturing.

You will need good dexterity with diligent attention to detail working in a fast-paced environment

39 Hours a week

16:00 - 02:30 (Monday to Thursday) 06:00 - 1 p.m (Friday)

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Be a willing & enthusiastic team member
- To be able to work at a speed consistent with the requirements of the department
- To be highly motivated to produce good quality without loss of production speed
- To contribute to the team’s improvement agenda in respect to continuous improvement, problem solving, Kaizen 6S activities and engineering changes
- To maintain a safe working environment

Essential skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- A Strong work ethic
- Focused with good attention to detail

Desirable
- Experience in either automotive or industrial finishing
- Be experienced in using both water & solvent based paint systems
- Understand current Health & Safety standards applicable to the handling of all preparation and painting materials.
- The above is not essential and full training will be provided.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £12.09 per hour (including Shift Pay & Role premium)

**Able to earn additional £15.00 weekly attendance bonus**
