**About this family**:
We are looking for a well-established, emotionally robust and confident Nanny / Manny to support a single working parent with three boys aged 4, 10 and 12. Both older boys are bright and enjoy activities such as football, swimming and Lego. Jake is 12 and settledat secondary school. Sam is almost 10 and Bertie is almost five years old and attends a nursery full time in term time, at the same school as Sam. He enjoys Lego and Playmobil. Sam and Bertie live with their dad for half of the time. All three children havetheir own needs. The full-time focus will be Jake. He has attachment trauma and SEMH needs. His behaviour has improved immensely over the last three years, helped by a live-in PACE-trained carer. As he transitions through adolescence, he needs a mix of compassionand empathy with appropriate boundary setting and relational support. Sam and Bertie also need age-appropriate support.
**Overview of role**:
A key part of the Nanny / Manny’s role will be working closely with the family to build on the progress made in the last few years. You’ll work with other professionals to support and implement therapy programmes as well as the principles of therapeutic parenting.In addition to the Nursery and School drop-offs and collections, the role will include general duties to ensure the household is running smoothly, whilst helping to provide a nurturing, therapeutic and happy environment for the children. Although a long day,there will be quiet periods when all the children are at nursery/school to allow you to re-charge your batteries. During the school holidays there will be additional hours, Monday to Friday 7.00am to 7.00pm, with a 6.00pm finish on a Friday. Additional hourswill also be available for overtime. The rate being offered is £18.00 gross per hour.
