**Job Title**: Hygiene Operative

**Reports to**: Mill Foreman and Operations Manager

**Work Location**: Main Street, Amotherby, YO17 6TA

**Hours of work**: 40 per week, working five eight hour shifts across 7 days allocated by business need. Will include some work on weekends / Bank Holidays

**Contract type**: Fixed Term Contract, starting on a 3 month basis

**Driving Licence Required**: Full UK driving licence

**Any additional qualifications**: Forklift advantageous

To start as soon as possible

From our own livestock feed manufacturing and storage facility, deliveries are made to farmers, small holders and home owners whilst our 11 Country Stores stock everything from animal feeds to wellington boots.

**Job Purpose**

To be primarily responsible for ensuring the feed mill and surrounding areas at our site based in Amotherby is kept thoroughly clean and tidy at all times.

Preferably applicants would have previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. An interest or background in agriculture would be advantageous.

**Job Tasks**
- Ensure the mill and surrounding areas are clean and of the highest standard at all times
- Assist with minor repair and maintenance work in the mill and other site areas as required
- Ensure that work areas assigned to you are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Ensure the correct clothing and appropriate safety devices are worn at all times whilst carrying out your work
- Additional ad hoc Mill & Weighbridge support when required

- To be able to work as part of team as well as being able to comfortably work on their own
