Regional Procurement Manager

Our client is an international logistics provider looking to add a Regional Procurement Manager based in their Slough depot. Our client are looking for a Regional Procurement Manager to oversee and manage the procurement function and team on a regional levelensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures whilst driving budget optimisation in meeting business and operational needs.
As Procurement Manager you will set the regional procurement plan and lead the implementation of that strategy. You will be responsible for the budgeting; managing of the relevant KPIs and looking to ensure all SLAs are achieved. The role will require youto mmanage and motivate the Procurement team through development, training and mentoring of direct reports. The role will focus on building a culture of long term saving on purchasing costs; building and managing the relationships with suppliers as well asmonitoring elements of compliance working alongside legal and finance departments.
The role will be based in their Slough depot but there will be extensive travel throughout the UK and EU. The role will be Monday - Friday; 9am - 5.30pm but due to the seniority of the role there will be some flexibility required as to working hours. Onoffer is a salary of £80,000 - £85,000 per annum plus an attractive bonus package.
