Finatal are working with a fast growth retail business, who are looking for an extremely experienced Interim Head of Analytics. This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking, diverse, ambitious team with offices in the heart of London. Having recentlyreceived funding from a mid-market PE-house, they have embarked on the ambitious journey of becoming a market leading data-driven organisation.

**The role**:

- Defining a playbook to lead the organisation through a data-driven transformation through an in-depth diagnostic of current performance and market indicators.
- Analyse potential market scenarios to predict future declines or accelerations in sales
- Analysis of current systems and technologies and their alternatives to provide insight to the C-suite on how to achieve the best return on investment.
- Occasional international travel and close communication with subsidiaries heads of, comparing performance
- Developing and nurturing a team of 10 data consultants ranging from data architectures to data scientists

- You will be immediately available
- You will have vast evidence of creating value within a business from data insights
- You will have solid commercial experience of data analytics, business intelligence, modelling and reporting
- You will have extensive experience managing a data team
- You will have prior experience defining BI strategy and structure and developing the wider analytics functions
- Any experience in the retail industry is highly desirable, however experience within other big data companies will also be considered
