**Job role**:
You will be working as part of a dynamic team supporting a diverse range of customers moving to new accommodation. The role is aimed at providing one to one support to new and existing customers by assisting them to sustain their tenancies whilst achieving positive outcomes during the Letting appointment and within the initial 12 weeks of their tenancy. This will enable and encourage our tenants to maintain their tenancies and make improvements to their personal circumstances, support their well-being and improving their financial capabilities. As part of the role, you will be interacting with customers and liaising with internal/external teams and agencies on a day-to-day basis. Great customer service skills are essential as well as a desire to continue to develop your skills through regular training and other opportunities.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

To complete appointments either over the phone or face to face.

To resolve customer enquiries and requests relating to the setting up of new tenancies and sustaining of existing tenancies. Case managing new tenants and escalating appropriately any high level and complex issues to a Housing Officer/Manager.

To conduct customer contact either by telephone or undergoing tenancy visits.

To understand and diagnose a customer’s needs and to facilitate cross-service solutions to enable them to begin and sustain their tenancy independently.

To promote the availability and access of advice and information for new and existing tenants.

Effectively signpost to support services following assessment of support needs for new and existing tenants.

Tracking and monitoring new tenancies for any breaches of the tenancy such as non-payment of rent, antisocial behaviour.

Handover of tenancies reaching 12 weeks.
