The Future Games/Kidz Zone Club have an opportunity for a Playworker to join it's team working in Houghton Regis.
We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with children leading active and fun sessions that will INSPIRE, NURTURE, and ENGAGE.
You will benefit from an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience delivering a wide range of 'active' childcare activities; working with children from ages 4 - 12. Activities to organise and deliver include sports, arts, crafts, free play, construction, board games and lots more
This is a demanding but very rewarding role which could kick-start a professional career in the education, childcare or activity delivery sector. The role is ideally suited to someone with experience of working/caring for children either in a voluntary or employed basis.
You will benefit from an extremely varied role - undertaking the following roles and responsibilities. **FULL TRAINING IS GIVEN**
**TERM TIME HOURS**
Breakfast club 7.00am - 9.00am
After school club 3.00pm - 5.45pm
25 hours per week
**SCHOOL HOLIDAY HOURS**
40 - 50 Hour shifts available each week of the school holiday
**DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Work at the club on a day to day basis in keeping with company policies and procedures.
- Deliver the activities in keeping with weekly timetable (planning and resources are provided)
- Preparing snacks and drinks.
- Complete general administration responsibilities - daily risk assessments, registers.
- Adhere to employers and placement organisations Health and Safety, Child Protection and Equalities policies.
- Complete various training courses.
- Safeguarding and ensuring the health and safety of children, clients, and your team.
- Be part of a positive team culture and fun child-friendly atmosphere

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £9.50-£12.50 per hour
