Wyresdale Park is seeking to appoint an experienced bar supervisor to work with the bar manager and to join a growing team. This is a key role within our weddings team and requires a highly motivated, passionate individual.

It is essential for you to be as passionate about bar and customer service as we are. You must be hard working, outgoing and have an enthusiasm for wine, ale and cocktails ensuring that each couple is provided with exceptional services and needs are met. The role is to oversee the smooth running of the bar alongside planning and coordinating events. Whilst your responsibilities will be varied and mainly running the bar and venue, the role will also include rota planning, stock taking, talking over drink packages and general day to day running of the venue and standards associated with it.

Wyresdale Park offers a unique wedding venue in its scale and flexibility. You must be comfortable with a dynamic venue that requires both calm and creativity.

**The role**:

- Train, and manage staff including shift rota
- Provide an excellent drinks service
- Assist in inventory including dated stock and stock rotation
- Assist in all bar resources inc replacement glassware and equipment, bar sundries and bar related product
- Maintain equipment and general bar cleanliness
- Ability to work with diverse personalities
- Work weekends, days and evenings.
- Card and all transaction handling and overseeing. You will be responsible for maintaining the current alcohol premises license and ensure all serving adheres to the current license.

**Person specification;**
- Up to 1 years’ experience as a team leader/ supervisor in a bar or hotel with the ability to manage, coordinate and set up a venue.
- Be able to build trade and drive the business forward through your own creative ideas
- You must be available for flexible working days and hours including work weekends, bank holidays and late nights.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Be willing to vary your day in order to set up the venue and the standards associated
- Have own car and full driving licence
- Personal license is preferred but not essential
- Understanding of first aid is preferred but not essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From £11.60 per hour
