Barista/supervisor

**Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee preparation and commitment to customer service will ensure that every guest enjoys their experience.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
- Uphold health and safety regulations within the café environment.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a hygienic workspace.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating change.
- Excellent time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
- A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic.
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous, ensuring quality standards are met.

Pay: From £15.00 per hour
