As a Physiotherapist you will need to have a current NMC registration and a good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices.

**As aPhysiotherapist you will be**:
- Working with residents who have a range of conditions, including neurological, Neuromusculoskeletal, cardiovascular and respiratory, sometimes over a period of weeks
- Making a clinical assessment and diagnosis in order to treat their physical problem/condition
- Designing and reviewing clinical care plans that encourage exercise and movement by the use of a range of techniques, and which may include specialist rehabilitation, life-style medicine, long-term strategies and clinical techniques
- Involving the care team in the treatment, review and rehabilitation of patients
- Liaising with other healthcare professionals, such as GPs, consultants, occupational therapists and social workers, to exchange information about the background and progress of patients, as well as to refer patients who require other medical attention
- Required to keep up-to-date with new techniques and technologies available for treating patients
- Caring, compassionate and professional at all times
- Managing clinical risk.
**To succeed you will be**:
- A Physiotherapist with the ability to lead a team of care staff
- Passionate about delivering great care and supporting the residents and their families
- A team player who engages well with others
- A sense of humour and positive outlook
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels
- Able to demonstrate awareness and understanding of the CI/CQQ/RQIA National Care Standards - this is from the RGN job ad would this be similar?
- Able to deliver nursing care in a clinical environment
