**Job Title: Infrastructure Architect**

**Location: Remote/Hybrid**

**Salary: Up to £75,000**

**Job Purpose**:
The Infrastructure Architect will form part of the Infrastructure and Security Architecture function and will work with the business's 3rd party IT outsource provide to develop architectural patterns and ensure compliance against them.

The role holder will be responsible for the creation of high and low level designs that comply with Paragon’s infrastructure and security architecture roadmaps, ensuring infrastructure services are robust, resilient and fit for purpose.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for ensuring that common architecture patterns are defined and maintained to ensure standards across the security and infrastructure architecture landscape.
- Responsible for ensuring the businesses' outsource provider delivers IT platforms that meet the our defined architecture strategy and common architecture patterns.
- Become a key member of Design Approval Board acting as a sign off all infrastructure and security technical design documentation
- Ensure continued architectural compliance to ISO27001, PCI-DSS, Cyber Essentials, GDPR and CSSF frameworks and contributing to audit and compliance activities as required
- Maintain and develop the Architecture Repository and artefacts therein
- Expected to keep abreast of the latest technologies and industry best practices; providing recommendations and direction to the business on the adoption of these.

**Experience required**:

- 5+ years' experience in the infrastructure domain in both design, implementation, and operational domains
- Demonstrable knowledge of hyper converged infrastructure design and implementation
- Familiar with CIS benchmarking standards
- Proven ability designing infrastructure solutions that are both highly available and highly scalable
- Knowledge and experience of large scale datacentre migrations would be advantageous, but not essential
- Broad & deep knowledge of IT services, influencing, translating, and mapping business strategy into technology strategy
- Experienced in working with senior stakeholder across both an internal and external client audience to represent and promote infrastructure designs
- Experience of working with regulatory framework such as PCI-DSS, ISO27001, GDPR, Cyber Essentials and designing infrastructure environments to meet these frameworks
- Experience with public cloud platforms, such as Oracle, Azure, and AWS, including SaaS and PaaS offerings
