Employee Support Assistant

**Description**:
We're looking for Employee Support Assistants to join us on a full time, permanent basis to work alongside our Psychological Services team to deliver vital care to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone from a customer service environment who is keen to step into a role with a clinical element, and work as part of a specialist team within the psychological health arena. You'll be given a robust set up and ongoing support from our clinicians and will also be enrolled in various CPD to ensure your ongoing development.
You can be home based with the requirement to attend our Glasgow office approximatley twice a year for team meetings, travel expenses will be paid. Please note the role is ideally full-time but we are happy to discuss part time options.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Taking calls and deciding the best initial course of action within a triage capacity, which can include resolving the query yourself or referring onward to our Counsellors.
- Set up cases on our electronic system, and ensure all activities are kept updated with relevant input from the wider clinical team.
- Manage queues appropriately by allocating tasks to colleagues or escalating if required.
- Facilitate referrals via the various pathways as directed by clinical colleagues.
- Provide administrative support on an ongoing basis, raising issues and ensuring all relevant databases and tasks are kept up to date.
**Induction & Training**:
You’ll receive a comprehensive induction to set you up for success in your new role. Your induction will last approximately three weeks and depending on your location, will be delivered remotely.
**Qualifications**:
- Strong customer service background with confidence delivering excellent customer care.
- Experience of working in a fast paced, unpredictable environment.
- Motivated to learn and willing to engage enthusiastically with a variety of people across the business.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Comfortable taking calls simultaneously whislt entering notes electronically into our system.
- Our EAP team recieve a variety of calls, some high pressure, so you must be someone who can deal with these in a calm and methodical manner.
