- We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Care Assistant to join us at Easipetcare, Streatham.

As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will work alongside our veterinarians and nursing team to ensure smooth operations in the clinic. Your role will involve assisting with animal care, maintaining clinic cleanliness, supporting medical procedures, and offering exceptional client service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist veterinarians and nurses with daily clinical procedures and treatments
- Provide hands-on care for animals, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring their health and well-being
- Help prepare and sterilise equipment for medical and surgical procedures
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards within the clinic
- Assist clients with appointments, answer their questions, and ensure a positive experience
- Handle animals with care and ensure their safety and comfort
- Support administrative duties, including record-keeping and inventory management
- Respond to emergencies as part of the clinic team, ensuring that animals receive prompt attention

We are currently looking for a dedicated Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You’ll be an essential part of our team, helping us maintain excellent care standards and providing support to both our clients and their pets.

**Key Requirements**:

- Previous experience in animal care (vet practice or similar) is desirable but not essential
- A passion for animal welfare and a caring, compassionate attitude
- Ability to work well as part of a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with both animals and people
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- A willingness to learn new skills and grow professionally
- Ability to remain calm and focused in emergency or stressful situations
