Are you looking for a new role within the Automotive Industry? We are supporting a permanent role based in Warwick.

**Job Purpose**:

- Construct Vehicle Package Layout CAD Geometry

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Create hardpoints through reference geometric package CAD, supporting Package Expert or Project Engineer, to meet PALs targets laid down by Vehicle Prog team, and in line with Platform hardpoints issued by the Concept Experts (UN&UP)
- Create Layout in both 2D and 3D CAD.
- Propose component locations with PMT and PMST reps to achieve efficient package safeguarding customer space targets and protecting legal and functional geometric requirements.
- Create engineering design and drawings to enable build and modification of physical package bucks
- Support prototype team in the creation and modifications to package bucks in line with requirements set by Package Project Engineer.
- Run CAD sessions in package zone meeting and provide package schemes to resolve cross functional issues
- Raise and support resolution of package related concerns, with CAD schemes.
- Support Virtual Series activity through conducting package target compliance analysis, as directed by Package Project Engineer or Package Expert.
- Evaluate ERN’s for package compliance meeting ETRS timing.

**Your Experience**
- Degree in Engineering
- Experience in whole vehicle package. Knowledge of legal requirements.
- Worked in a cross functional role in Automotive.
- Working knowledge of vehicle attributes would be an advantage.
- Ability to use Vis Mock-up to an advanced level, NX and Team Centre. MS Tools: Project, Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
- Must show passion for sports cars.
- A clear communicator, with good organisation skills.
- Must be able to innovate as well as negotiate and arbitrate between PMT's and PAT's to achieve the best geometric solutions for the product.
