We are working with a successful financial services business in Chester to recruit an Operations Analyst.

**Client Details**

The business has performed really well in 2021, exceeding budget expectations and Q1 has already been exceptional. They have invested in technology and recruiting talented people to help with business growth and performance, and are now in the market foran Operations Analyst to help control all financial planning and operations activities and ways to improve.

**Description**

In this role you will be responsible for:

- Developing operational MI, focusing on workload forecasting
- Capacity planning
- Supporting and making necessary adjustments for operational changes
- Ensuring operational risk and control self assessments are carried out
- Ownership of design authority and quality control framework
- Ensuring all compliance requirements are delivered through system configuration to maintain excellent customer service
- Analysing business processes to identify issues, risks and opportunities and proposing solutions
- Working closely with technicians to ensure that business processes and systems achieve regulatory compliance and improved service
- Ensure that all FCA requirement are met as appropriate and conduct rules are followed

**Profile**

The successful applicant to the Operations Analyst vacancy must have:

- Solid operational experience ideally in a financial services organisation
- Well educated ideally with a degree
- Strong influencing skills with the ability and experience to make operational changes when required
- Strong attention to detail
- Inquisitive nature and analytical mindset
- Well organised with time management and prioritisation skills
- Good relationship building skills and able to work well as part of a team
- SQL experience would be an advantage
