Birmingham is a leading provider supporting Black and Minoritised communities through their journey to safety, confidence, and independence to live free from violence, abuse and fear.

**Roshni is currently recruiting for the following role**:
An Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) Certificate will be required for all roles.

**Senior FM & HBA Support/Outreach Worker**

**Salary**: £25,000 per annum
**Essential**:Ability to speak one South Asian Language

**Location**:West Midlands

**Contract Type**:Full time: 37.5 hours per week

**Key Purpose of Job**

To provide direct support and advocacy to victims of Forced Marriage (FM) and Honour
Based Abuse (HBA) across the West M.

**The role**
- To provide individual needs-led information, safety planning, support and advocacy

(including sign-posting) for victims/survivors of Forced Marriage (FM) and HonourBased Abuse (HBA).
- To assist women to access legal advice and to support during the criminal prosecution process.
- To keep women updated with case progress and support them before, during and after any criminal justice proceedings.
- To work in partnership with key participating partners.
- To undertake some group work activities with victims/survivors including organising activities and outings to reduce isolation and build resilience and confidence.
- To develop knowledge, confidence and awareness of rights and routes to support for

FM and HBA victims/survivors with internal and external partners and agencies.
- To support victims and survivors to report FM and HBA and ensure they are fully supported throughout the criminal justice process.
- To support in reviewing and developing Roshni Birmingham’s policies and procedures.
- To support the FM and HBA Training and Engagement Worker to develop and deliver

FM and HBA workshops to young people and develop innovative FM and HBA campaigns.
- To support FM and HBA Training and Engagement Worker to develop and deliver FM and HBA Community Workshops and training for professionals.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 30 months

**Salary**: £23,500.00-£25,500.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Birmingham, West Midlands: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:
