About the Role
Our supported living service in North East Ipswich, Suffolk provides six self-contained one bedroom flats supporting male and female adults with learning disabilities, additional complex needs and Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS).
The focus is on supporting individuals to live as active and meaningful life as possible within the local community and achieve greater independence in line with specific needs. The team actively encourage the people they support to access activities and hobbies in the local community as independently as possible.
You’ll be responsible for supporting an inclusive lifestyle within the community as individuals attend local colleges or day trips out. Develop greater independence and daily living skills by assisting with the upkeep of the service, preparing meals, shopping and domestic duties. Providing help with personal care such as washing, bathing and dressing whilst working across various shift patterns including early, late and weekend or night shifts. Full time and part time positions are available.
