We have the pleasure of working with a new client with an impressive presence across the Southwest who have a unique and exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join their Corporate Tax team as a Corporate Tax Manager.
- The responsibilities:_
- Responsibility for the client portfolio covering all tax compliance work, including tax planning projects and HMRC correspondence.
- Assisting with the management of the department, including developing more junior staff members and delegating tasks to the appropriate members of the team.
- Resolution of client queries whilst building and maintaining client relationships. This will include client visits and building the relationship as their designated specialist.
- Managing the financial implications of client work including recoveries, identification of additional work and the appropriate billing due to the client.
- CTA Qualified.
- ACA/ACCA qualified would be preferable.
- Excellent technical knowledge of accounts preparation, tax compliance, both business and personal tax regulations, VAT, PAYE and CIS.
- Excellent communication skills both internally and externally, via all communication methods.
- A team-centric and focused attitude, with a proactive and methodical approach.
- The ability to prioritise and adapt to ever-fluctuating workloads and adhering to strict deadlines.
