The role is a remote position with occasional visits to our office located in Hove, East Sussex. You will be reporting to the Head of Systems Engineering and your responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining, managing, and monitoring our cloud-native development and production systems based on Kubernetes.
- Ensuring the security, backup, and redundancy strategies are maintained.
- Providing third-line race support to help deliver Formula 1. This may require some weekend work.
- Performing any other duties as deemed suitable to the post.
- Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using tools like Packer, Terraform, and GIT.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) - EC2, EKS, S3, ALBs, etc.
- Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger.
- CI/CD using Gitops (Flux), Helm, and Kustomize.
Desired skills include proficiency in at least one server-based programming language (Python or Golang), multi-site TCP/IP networking, GitLab/Bitbucket Pipelines, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, load testing and performance optimization, and documentation usingsoftware such as Confluence and Bitbucket.
The role will be working Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with occasional weekend support work required due to the nature of the role. Lieu days will be provided to account for this.
