Our customers are diverse and unique and are only united by our ability to provide specialist insurance tailored to their needs. **The role** The UK eTrade team is leading our broker eTrading strategy which is defining our product, technology, distribution and service requirements. Central to the team is delivery and ownership of product on Acturis. Working with strategic brokers and scheme opportunities. We are looking for a business analyst to specialise in our Acturis proposition taking ownership of product builds, migration with a focus on scheme opportunities (new and existing). This is an exciting opportunity to become an specialist analyst in thisgrowing area whilst benefiting from links to the established UK analyst team. This role will span the project lifecycle, from initial concept, business case, scoping and requirements through to working with technical delivery teams to successfully implement the changes you have defined, including taking a lead role in testing. **What you'll be doing** - Working as an integral part of the UK eTrade team, supporting the full project lifecycle from initial scoping through to delivery and benefits realisation processes for Acturis products deliveries - Producing Acturis specifications and business requirements - Building strong, productive relationships with the business, IT & third party stakeholders - Implementing continual improvements within your sphere of influence to ensure that we are constantly delivering efficient and effective change - Business implementation of the planned broker migrations to Acturis **Our must haves** - Proven experience of eliciting, documenting and delivering high quality business analysis deliverables. - The ability to combine "soft" influencing, persuasion and consultancy skills with "leadership" qualities that will encourage stakeholders to positively respond to questions, enquiries and requests to meet deadlines - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of working with people at all levels within and external to the business - Be highly results driven, with the energy and determination to succeed in a fast paced environment where the speed of response is critical to success **Our nice to haves** - Experience of: - working with third party software houses ideally Acturis - working in the insurance industry - analysis within the commercial insurance sector - system integration implementation **Diversity and flexible working at Hiscox** At Hiscox we care about our people.
