A top-10 university, with an exceptional global reputation, is looking for an interim Finance Analyst to support one of the most commercial departments within the business. For an initial 2 months, but with a view to be extended to a further fixed term contract,this role supports the Finance Manager across management accounting and FP&A.

As Finance Analyst, your main responsibilities will include:

- Assisting the Finance Manager in providing an excellent finance business partnering service to the department
- Reviewing programme budgets to support the running of departmental programmes
- Producing reports and analysis for month end close on time, including reporting and analysis of programme actuals vs. budget results
- Assisting with the deliver of quarterly management accounts
- Be a part-qualified accountant or have equivalent experience to a Finance Analyst/Assistant Finance Analyst level role
- Have excellent communication skills, able to manage multiple stakeholders
- Be a very capable user of Excel
- Have proven experience producing effective financial management reports, analyses and recommendations
- This role falls inside of IR35, and requires two days per week working from the university's Head Office._
