We are currently looking for a Production Operative to join our team at Newport. This position will be based on the following three-shift system (with an extra 1.75 hours 1 day in the week for improvement work and training);
- Days (Mon - Fri) 5:45am - 14:00pm
- Afternoons (Mon - Fri) 13:45pm - 22:00pm
- Nights (Mon - Fri) 21:45pm - 6:00am

You will work 42 hours per week and we require you to be flexible with regards to the shift pattern and overtime, as requirements may change during your contract. Internally, this role is known as Operations Team Member.

**What's the mission?**
- A safety-conscious individual with a proactive approach to all aspects of safety, health, environmental and quality issues
- Working within an increasingly productive department
- Working within the CBP department, Operating press machinery, shot blast machinery or mobile plant aiming for optimum production outputs
- Working flexibility (covering breaks, smooth shift handovers etc.)
- Communication skills (shift handovers, liaise with maintenance/ Team Managers and being involved in daily Operational machine reviews with the management team)
- Proactive with “can do” attitude
- PC literate to incorporate lineside data (dashboard booking)

**Mission-critical skills**:

- Experience working in a busy but controlled environment
- Industry experience is not essential as full training will be provided
- Good group working ethos
- Current accredited FLT licence (preferred but not essential)
- The flexibility of shift rotation or nightshift experience will be required
- Safe to Supervise or IOSH qualification would be advantageous but not essential
