An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, personable, dynamic and self-motivated individual, to join the Patient Access Team as a booking co-ordinator/ Receptionist. The role involves supporting patients face to face and over the telephone, You will be based in Amersham Main OPD but you may have to cover other sites if the service requires. You will also have the opportunity to work and train in other areas and teams within Patient Access, gaining essential skills and experience to support ongoing personal development.

You will be working on the Main Outpatients Reception within Amersham Hospital, where you will be greeting Patients when they are attending their clinic appointments. You will be responsible for checking Patients in/out on our computer system, and helping the Admin Office with other administration duties.

Main duties will be meeting and greeting our Patients to the Department as well as keeping the clinic prep completed each week for the Oral Surgery / Orthodontic department.

Checking and making appointments for Patients on our Careflow reception system

Priorities is outcoming the Patients clinic appointments in a timely manner

Helping out team prepping for oral dentist clinics for the following day

Any ad-hoc duties that are needed by the Booking Office for patient care.
